Minor Flood Warning For The South Esk River

MINOR FLOODING MAY DEVELOP AT PERTH OVERNIGHT WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY
No significant rainfall has been observed in the past 24 hours to 9:00 am Wednesday across the South Esk catchment.
Minor flooding is possible at Perth from overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
Showers with possible thunderstorms are forecast for the rest of Wednesday into Thursday which may cause renewed river level rises in the South Esk River catchment.
This situation is being monitored closely and warning will be updated as required.
South Esk River - Llewellyn to Perth:
Minor flooding may occur along the South Esk River - Llewellyn to Perth.
The South Esk at Perth is currently at 2.70 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (4.30 m).
The South Esk at Perth may reach the minor flood level 4.30 m overnight Wednesday into Thursday, as upstream floodwaters arrive.
