Final Flood Warning For The North Esk River

FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT CORRA LINN
The North Esk River at Corra Linn peaked slightly below the minor flood level Saturday morning.
Further rainfall is forecast for the North Esk catchment next Tuesday and Wednesday, which may result in renewed river level rises. The situation is being closely monitored, and warnings will be issued if required.
Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn:
Flooding is no longer expected along the North Esk River at Corra Linn.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn peaked at 2.52 m around 08:00 am Saturday and is currently at 2.50 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.70 m) throughout the weekend and into Monday. Renewed river level rises are possible from Tuesday, with forecast rainfall.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
