Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
King Island, Furneaux Islands, North West Coast, Central North, North East, Midlands, East Coast, Upper Derwent Valley and South East forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and southerly winds are expected during Friday night. Areas likely to be affected include the Central North, Midlands and East Coast forecast districts and parts of the Upper Derwent Valley and South East forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

Areas likely to be affected include the Central North, Midlands, East Coast and Upper Derwent Valley forecast districts and parts of the King Island, Furneaux Islands, North West Coast, North East and South East forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

Initial Minor Flood Warning For The North Esk River

Flood Warning Number: 1

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT CORRA LINN SATURDAY MORNING WITH FORECAST RAINFALL
Moderate rainfall totals are forecast for the North Esk River catchment during the remainder of Friday into Saturday. River level rises are expected and minor flooding is possible from Saturday morning.

Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn:
Minor flooding may occur along the Lower North Esk River.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn is currently at 1.70 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn may reach the minor flood level (2.70 m) Saturday morning with forecast rainfall.

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
