RIVER LEVELS MAY REMAIN AROUND THE MINOR FLOOD LEVEL AT BELOW MEADOWBANK DAM FOR THE REMAINDER OF TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY
Following a peak over the weekend, river levels remain elevated around the minor flood level at Below Meadowbank Dam.
Light showers are forecast across the catchment during Tuesday and Wednesday, but are not expected to cause significant renewed rises at this stage.
River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam:
Minor flooding is possible along the River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam.
The River Derwent at Below Meadowbank Dam is currently at 3.01 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The River Derwent at Below Meadowbank Dam may remain around the minor flood level (4.10 m) for the remainder of Tuesday into Wednesday.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
