for Kimberley district.

Heavy rainfall with Ex-Tropical Cyclone Hayley is not expected, though moderate falls may continue.

Weather Situation
As at 11am, Ex-Tropical Cyclone Hayley is currently situated to the northeast of Fitzroy Crossing and moving east-northeast through the Kimberley today. Moderate rainfall is expected today between Mount Barnett and Halls Creek, pushing towards Warmun into Wednesday evening.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises that people should:
* Keep away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
* Be careful of fallen trees, damaged buildings and debris.
* Be careful of fallen power lines. They are dangerous and should always be treated as live.;
* Assess your home, car and property for damage.;
* If damage has occurred take photos and contact your insurance company to organise permanent repairs.
* If your home or property has significant damage, like a badly damaged roof or flooding, call the SES on 132500.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.

Ex-Tropical Cyclone Hayley has weakened over the west Kimberley.

Areas Affected:
Warning zone: None.

Watch zone: None.

Cancelled zone: Northeast of Derby, southeast of Cockatoo Island, west of Mount Barnett.

Details of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Hayley 08U at 5:00 am AWST:
Intensity: Tropical Low, sustained winds near the centre of 65 kilometres per hour with wind gusts to 95 kilometres per hour.
Location: within 30 kilometres of 16.9 degrees South 124.9 degrees East, estimated to be 140 kilometres east northeast of Derby and 165 kilometres south southeast of Kuri Bay.
Movement: east at 21 kilometres per hour.
Ex-Tropical Cyclone Hayley is moving east over land in the west Kimberley, and will continue to weaken during today.
