Warning to Sheep Graziers

for South Coastal, South East Coastal, Great Southern and Central Wheat Belt forecast districts

Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
South Coastal, South East Coastal, Great Southern and Central Wheat Belt forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and strong westerly winds are expected during Saturday. Areas likely to be affected include the South Coastal and Great Southern forecast districts and parts of the South East Coastal and Central Wheat Belt forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
Cancellation of Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
Central West, Lower West and South West forecast districts
The Warning to Sheep Graziers for the Central West, Lower West and South West forecast districts has been cancelled.

The next warning will be issued by 11:00 pm WST Saturday.

Cancellation Of Severe Weather Warning

for Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, South Coastal, South East Coastal, Great Southern and Central Wheat Belt districts.

Issued at 2:46 pm Saturday, 28 March 2026.

Heavy rainfall and damaging winds no longer expected as Ex-Tropical Cyclone Narelle continues a weakening trend.

Weather Situation
Ex-Tropical Cyclone Narelle has weakened this morning, becoming a subtropical low which is currently located southeast of Merredin. The system will continue to weaken and move rapidly towards the south southeast today, moving off the south coast to the west of Esperance this evening.

Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, South Coastal, South East Coastal, Great Southern and Central Wheat Belt
Severe weather is no longer occurring in the Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, South Coastal, South East Coastal, Great Southern and Central Wheat Belt districts and the warning for these districts is cancelled. Moderate rainfall and gusty conditions may still occur during the rest of the day.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises that people should:
* Keep away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
* Be careful of fallen trees, damaged buildings and debris.
* Be careful of fallen power lines. They are dangerous and should always be treated as live.;
* Assess your home, car and property for damage.;
* If damage has occurred take photos and contact your insurance company to organise permanent repairs.
* If your home or property has significant damage, like a badly damaged roof or flooding, call the SES on 132500.
