    Final Flood Watch For Macdonnell Ranges, Tanami, Central And Simpson Desert Catchments

    RAINFALL HAS EASED BUT AREAS OF LOCALISED FLOODING MAY PERSIST ACROSS THE FLOOD WATCH AREA DURING THE NEXT FEW DAYS
    
    The band of rain that brought widespread unseasonal moderate to heavy rainfall to the Flood Watch area will clear later today.
    Catchments in the Flood Watch area that have received recent rainfall are moderately wet, otherwise catchments are relatively dry.
    No further significant rainfall is forecast for the Flood Watch area.
    River and creek levels are expected to be dropping whilst stagnant pooling may continue in the MacDonnell Ranges, Tanami Central and Simpson Desert catchments. Recent rainfall may have adversely affected secondary and unsealed roads. Check road conditions before travelling.
    
    Flooding is no longer expected in the following catchments:
    Tanami Desert
    Central Desert
    MacDonnell Ranges
    Simpson Desert
