    Valid for Friday 28 November 2025 to Sunday 30 November 2025
    
    Warning for the following areas:
    Gulf Country, North Tropical Coast and Tablelands, Herbert and Lower Burdekin, Wide Bay and Burnett and Southeast Coast
    Cancellation for the following areas:
    Central West, Central Coast and Whitsundays and Capricornia
    
    Safety Advice:
     Severe heatwaves can be dangerous for many people, especially older people, babies, children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, people with medical conditions and people who are unwell.
     Seek a place to keep cool, such as your home, a library, community centre or shopping centre.
     Close your windows and draw blinds, curtains or awnings early in the day to keep the heat out of your home.
     If available, use fans or air-conditioners to keep cool.
    
    Maximum temperatures ranging from the low thirties to low forties with overnight minimum temperatures in the high teens to mid twenties.? 
    
    Severe heatwave conditions will continue to contract from western and central parts of the State over the weekend. Severe heatwave conditions are then expected to ease in the east by early next week.?  Locations likely to be impacted include Burketown, Bundaberg, Doomadgee, Esk and Ingham.
    
    The next heatwave warning will be issued by 3:00pm EST on Saturday 29 November 2025
