MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT SUSSEX INLET
In the 24 hours to 9:00am Monday rainfall totals of up to 60mm have been recorded in the St Georges Basin catchment. Showery conditions will continue across the catchment in the next few days.
St Georges Basin:
Flooding is no longer expected in the St Georges Basin.
The Sussex Inlet is likely to remain below the minor flood level (0.90 m).

* Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
* Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
* Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
* Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
