Minor Flood Warning For The Logan River

MINOR FLOODING IS LIKELY AT MACLEAN BRIDGE SUNDAY AFTERNOON
FLOODING HAS EASED AT BEAUDESERT
Moderate to heavy rainfall observed in the Logan River catchment since Friday has caused river level rises along the Logan River. Minor flooding has eased at Beaudesert and is likely at Maclean Bridge Sunday afternoon.
Further rainfall is forecast during Sunday which may cause renewed river level rises in parts of the catchment. The situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
Logan River to Yarrahappini:
Minor flooding has eased along the Logan River to Yarrahappini.
The Logan River at Beaudesert peaked at 8.97 m around 03:30 am Sunday 16 November, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 6.52 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Logan River at Beaudesert is likely to remain below the minor flood level (7.00 m).
Logan River downstream of Yarrahappini:
Minor flooding is likely along the Logan River downstream of Yarrahappini.
The Logan River at Maclean Bridge is currently at 9.02 m AHD and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Logan River at Maclean Bridge is likely to exceed the minor flood level (10.00 m AHD) Sunday afternoon. The river may peak near 11.00 m AHD Sunday evening, with minor flooding.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
