River levels at Bedourie have exceeded the major flood level and rising. Downstream at Glengyle, major flooding is possible around Wednesday. Significant renewed rises are expected in the coming weeks at Bedourie and Glengyle as floodwaters arrive from the upper parts of the catchment.
Additional river rises, localised flooding and overland inundation remain possible across the catchment as floodwaters move downstream. Road access is likely to be affected, and communities may become isolated. The situation is being closely monitored and warnings will be updated as required.
