Minor Flood Warning For The Upper Brisbane River

MINOR FLOODING IS POSSIBLE ALONG UPPER BRISBANE RIVER AT GREGOR CREEK MONDAY EVENING
Moderate to locally heavy rainfall has been observed in the Upper Brisbane River catchment overnight Sunday into Monday. This has caused creek and river level rises in the catchment, and minor flooding is possible at Gregor Creek Monday evening.
Brisbane River to Wivenhoe Dam:
Minor flooding is possible along the Brisbane River to Wivenhoe Dam. Minor flooding is occurring at Devon Hills.
The Brisbane River at Gregor Creek is currently at 2.44 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Brisbane River at Gregor Creek may peak near the minor flood level (3.50 m) Monday evening.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
