MINOR FLOODING CONTINUING AT BIRDSVILLE
Minor flooding is easing slowly at Durrie Station, while moderate flooding is easing slowly at Roseberth Station. Further downstream, the main flood peak has passed Birdsville, where the river levels peaked just below the moderate flood level over the weekend.
Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
Moderate flooding is easing slowly at Roseberth Station. Minor flooding is occurring at Birdsville.
The Diamantina River at Birdsville Police Station is currently at 5.65 m and falling slowly, with minor flooding.
The Diamantina River at Birdsville Police Station is likely to remain above the minor flood level (4.00 m) for the remainder of the week.

Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
