Severe thunderstorms have eased across southeast Queensland.

Severe thunderstorms are no longer affecting the Southeast Queensland area. This warning is now cancelled. Other warnings may be current. Please check https://www.bom.gov.au/weather-and-climate/warnings-and-alerts/.
46 mm was recorded at Bellevue Bay in the 30 minutes to 10:45 pm.

Emergency services advise people to:
* Never drive, walk, play or ride through floodwater. It is dangerous.
* Stay away from storm water drains.
* Stay away from fallen powerlines.
* Drive slowly and never drive through floodwaters. If the road is flooded or damaged, go another way.
* For storm help, call the SES on 132 500 or download the free SES Assistance QLD app.
A more general severe thunderstorm warning remains current for parts of the Wide Bay and Burnett, Darling Downs and Granite Belt and Central Highlands and Coalfields districts.
No further warnings will be issued for this event.
