Cancellation of Coastal Hazard Warning
for Mid North Coast, Hunter, Metropolitan, Illawarra and South Coast Forecast Districts.

Damaging surf conditions for central and southern NSW now easing
Weather Situation
A series of low pressure systems remain in the Tasman Sea. A secondary low that was moving northwards just offshore from the NSW coast has begun to weaken. Strong to gale force south to southwesterly winds around these lows are still generating large and powerful south to southeasterly waves today, but these are no longer expected to be damaging.

Mid North Coast, Hunter, Metropolitan, Illawarra and South Coast
Damaging surf conditions are no longer occurring in NSW.
A HAZARDOUS SURF WARNING from Eden to Macquarie Coasts is still current. Refer http://www.bom.gov.au/nsw/warnings/
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't walk, ride or drive through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
* Stay vigilant and monitor conditions.
No further warnings will be issued for this event.
