Final Flood Warning For The Brisbane River Downstream Of Wivenhoe Dam

MINOR FLOODING EASED AT LOWOOD
Moderate to intense rainfall was recorded across the Lower Brisbane River catchment over the last few days which resulted in creek and river level rises across the Lower Brisbane River catchment, including Brisbane Creek catchments.
Seqwater has advised releases from Wivenhoe Dam to the Brisbane River will commence Tuesday evening as flows from Lockyer Creek begin to recede. The releases will be aiming to keep Brisbane River levels below minor flood levels.
Brisbane River downstream of Wivenhoe Dam:
Flooding has eased along the Brisbane River downstream of Wivenhoe Dam at Lowood.
The Brisbane River at Lowood is expected to be below the minor flood level and falling.
The Brisbane River at Lowood is expected to remain below the minor flood level (8.00 m).
The Brisbane River at Mt Crosby is currently at 9.13 metres and steady, below the minor flood level.
Over the next few days, river level rises are expected in the Brisbane River at Mt Crosby, however, the river level is expected to remain below the minor flood level (11.00 m).
The Brisbane River at Moggill is currently at 3.27 metres and falling, below the minor flood level.
Over the next few days, river level rises are expected in the Brisbane River at Moggill, however, the river level is expected to remain below the minor flood level (10.00 m).
The Brisbane River at Brisbane City is currently at 0.11 metres and rising with the tide, below the minor flood level (1.70 m).
The river level is expected to remain below the minor flood level (1.70 m) over the next few days.
