    Valid for Friday 17 October 2025 to Monday 20 October 2025
    
    Warning for the following areas:
    Kimberley, North Interior and South Interior
    
    Safety Advice:
     Severe heatwaves can be dangerous for many people, especially older people, babies, children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, people with medical conditions and people who are unwell.
     Seek a place to keep cool, such as your home, a library, community centre or shopping centre.
     Close your windows and draw blinds, curtains or awnings early in the day to keep the heat out of your home.
     If available, use fans or air-conditioners to keep cool.
    
    Maximum Temperatures in the high thirties to mid forties and overnight minimum temperatures in the low to high twenties over parts of the southern Kimberley and Interior. 
    
    The heat is expected to peak over the weekend and ease by mid next week.  Locations likely to be impacted include Warburton.
    
    The next heatwave warning will be issued by 2:00pm WST on Saturday 18 October 2025
