Cancellation Of Severe Thunderstorm Warning
for Daly and Gregory districts.

Severe thunderstorms occurring over parts of the Daly and Gregory Districts have eased.
Weather Situation
Lingering moisture from ex-Tropical Cyclone Hayley generated slow-moving thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rainfall. These conditions have eased but will continue to be monitored.

This warning is now cancelled.
The Northern Territory Emergency Service advises that people should:
* avoid driving into water of unknown depth and current
* stay away from fallen power lines. They are dangerous and should always be treated as live
* stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways
