Minor Flood Warning For The Lower Diamantina River

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT BIRDSVILLE
Flooding continues to ease along the lower Diamantina River. River levels at Roseberth Station fell below the moderate flood level Thursday night and are likely to remain above the minor flood level during the weekend.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.

Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
Flooding is easing along the lower Diamantina River between Durrie Station and Birdsville. Minor flooding continues to ease at Roseberth Station.
The Diamantina River at Birdsville was 5.20 metres on Thursday 4:25 pm and falling slowly, above the minor flood level (4.00 m).
The Diamantina River at Birdsville is likely to remain above the minor flood level during the weekend and into early next week.

Minor flooding is slowly easing along the Eyre Creek at Glengyle.
No significant rainfall is forecast over the next few days.

Minor flooding is slowly easing along the Eyre Creek at Glengyle.
The Eyre Creek at Glengyle is currently at 2.90 metres and falling slowly, above the minor flood level (2.00 m).
Eyre Creek at Glengyle may remain above the minor flood level during the weekend and into early next week.
