Final Flood Warning For The Gwydir River

FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT YARRAMAN BRIDGE
The Gwydir River at Yarraman Bridge fell below the minor flood level Saturday afternoon.
Gwydir River downstream of Copeton Dam:
Flooding is no longer occurring along the Gwydir River downstream of Copeton Dam
The Gwydir River at Yarraman Bridge is currently at 3.95 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Gwydir River at Yarraman Bridge is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
