    MAJOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT TIARO
     MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT GYMPIE AND MIVA
     Heavy to locally intense rainfall was been observed across the Mary River catchment across the weekend, with rainfall easing since Monday evening. 
     Widespread minor to major flooding is being observed at multiple locations throughout the catchment, with major flooding occurring at Tiaro. Further small rises and prolonged flooding are possible as upstream flows from Munna Creek arrives, following a peak earlier today at Marodian.
     At Miva and Gympie moderate flood levels are falling after peaks earlier today. At Maryborough, minor flooding may continue overnight Tuesday into Wednesday as further upstream flows arrive.
     No significant rainfall is forecast over the next few days. The situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
    
    Mary River to Gympie:
    Moderate flooding is occurring at Gympie and minor at Dagun Pocket.
    No observations are currently available for the Mary River at Dagun Pocket. The river level is estimated to be above the minor flood level.
    The Mary River at Dagun Pocket may remain above the minor flood level (7.00 m) for the remainder of Tuesday and into Wednesday.
    
    The Mary River at Gympie peaked around 12.5 m during Tuesday 10 March, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 12.11 m and falling.
    The Mary River at Gympie is likely to fall below the moderate flood level (12.00 m) early Wednesday morning. The river is expected to remain above the minor flood level (6.00 m) during Wednesday. 
    
    Six Mile Creek:
    River levels are elevated and minor flooding is occurring along Six Mile Creek.
    Mary River downstream of Gympie:
    Major flooding is occurring at Tiaro. Near minor flooding is occurring at Maryborough.
    The Mary River at Miva is currently at 13.47 m and falling, with moderate flooding.
    The Mary River at Miva is expected to remain above the moderate flood level (9.50 m) during Wednesday. 
    
    The Mary River at Tiaro peaked around 13.2 m during Tuesday, with major flooding. The river is currently at 12.54 m and falling.
    The Mary River at Tiaro may fall below the major flood level (12.00 m) during Wednesday. 
    
    The Mary River at Maryborough (Portside Alert) is currently at 4.90 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
    The Mary River at Maryborough (Portside Alert) may remain around the minor flood level (5.00 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. 
    
    Tinana Creek:
    River levels are elevated and minor flooding is occurring along Tinana Creek.
    
    Flood Safety Advice:
    Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
     Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
     Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
