Final Flood Warning For The Suttor River

FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT ST ANNS
Following a minor flood peak on Tuesday, river levels fell below the minor flood level along the Suttor River at St Anns during Saturday night.
Showers and storms are forecast across the catchment for the remainder of Sunday but are not expected to cause significant renewed rises in river levels.

Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Flooding is no longer occurring along the Suttor River at St Anns.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 3.76 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Suttor River at St Anns is likely to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
