MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT DAINTREE VILLAGE
ELEVATED RIVER LEVELS OCCURRING ALONG THE BLOOMFIELD AND MOSSMAN RIVERS
Moderate to heavy rainfall in the Daintree River catchment since Friday has caused river level rises and moderate flooding at Daintree Village during Sunday. The river level at Daintree Village may remain above the moderate flood level overnight Sunday into Monday. Elevated river levels are being observed at China Camp along the Bloomfield River.
Showers and thunderstorms are possible for the remainder of Sunday, which may cause further river level rises. The situation is being monitored and this warning will be updated as required.

Daintree River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Daintree River at Daintree Village. Elevated river levels are being observed along the Bloomfield River.
The Daintree River at Daintree Village is currently at 7.25 m and rising, with moderate flooding.
The Daintree River at Daintree Village may remain above the moderate flood level (6.00 m) overnight Sunday into Monday.

Mossman River:
Elevated river levels are being observed along the Mossman River.

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT KAMERUNGA BRIDGE SUNDAY AFTERNOON
Moderate to heavy rainfall in the Barron River catchment since Friday has caused creek and river level rises. Minor flooding is possible at Kamerunga Bridge Sunday afternoon.
Further showers are forecast for the next few days. The situation is being monitored and warnings will be updated as required.

Barron River downstream of Barron Falls:
Minor flooding is occurring at Bilwon and Myola. Minor flooding is possible along the Barron River at Kamerunga Bridge.
The Barron River at Kamerunga Bridge is currently at 4.81 m AHD and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Barron River at Kamerunga Bridge may reach around the minor flood level (5.00 m AHD) Sunday afternoon.

Showers continue on the North Tropical Coast directed onshore by a southeasterly surge, but rain rates have now eased below warning thresholds.

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT PEETS BRIDGE AND GORDONVALE
Heavy rainfall since Saturday evening has caused rapid river level rises across the Mulgrave River catchment. The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge peaked above the minor flood level early Sunday morning, with river levels now easing. At Gordonvale, river level is likely to peak late Sunday morning, with minor flooding.
River levels are elevated along the Russell River with minor flooding occurring at Bucklands and near minor at Clyde Rd.
Further showers and possible thunderstorms are forecast for the remainder of Sunday which may cause renewed river level rises. The situation is being monitored and this warning will be updated as required.

Mulgrave River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Mulgrave River.
The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge peaked at 6.80 m around 05:20 am Sunday, with minor flooding. The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge is currently at 6.71 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge may fall below the minor flood level (5.00 m) Sunday afternoon.

The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale is currently at 13.10 m and steady, above the minor flood level (12.00 m).
The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale may peak near 13.30 m around late Sunday morning, with minor flooding.

Russell River:
River levels are elevated along the Russell River, with minor flooding occurring at Bucklands and near minor at Clyde Rd. Further river level rises are possible with forecast rainfall.

The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 2.25 m and rising slowly, below the minor flood level.
The Suttor River at St Anns may exceed the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Monday 16 March. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
