    Final Flood Warning For The Severn River

    FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT ASHFORD
     River levels have peaked below the minor flood level and now falling in the Severn River at Ashford. 
    
    Severn River:
    Flooding is no longer expected along the Severn River at Ashford. 
    The Severn River at Ashford is currently at 1.35 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
    The Severn River at Ashford is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.20 m).
    
    Flood Safety Advice:
    Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
     Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
     Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
     Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.
